      Our Services


  Maju Perkasa Sdn Bhd was established in 1991 under the company Act 1965. The company is a fast growing company in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) services, particularly in Local Exhaust Ventilation systems.

Maju Perkasa’s nature of business is closely linked with the environmental issues yet again dealing with the industrial sectors. Our main focus is doing Engineering, Local Exhaust Ventilation System (LEV) monitoring and Isokinetic Stack monitoring.

Maju Perkasa has also involved in EHS training, Administrative Service for Governmental Approval ( DOSH & DOE ) and supplying airflow measuring equipment.

The company has its competent persons and possesses a license for monitoring, reporting and submission of LEV system from the Department of Occupational Safety & Health (DOSH) and Department of Environment (DOE). With a qualified personnel and established associates, the company believes that it will be able to deliver competent and excellent services to satisfy its clients’ need.

These are a few of the Regulations : -
    
Regulation 9 – Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA)

Whereby the company will have to engage an assessor by giving him / her the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) to verify the list of chemicals that hazardous to health in a final report, here the assessor will also advice the company to carry out the LEV monitoring based on the regulation stated below.


Regulation 17 & 18 – Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV)

Under this regulation it states that any engineering control equipment that is used to keep the work area clean and clear of the generated airbone contaminants.


Department of Environment (DOE)

These are a few of the Regulations :

Environmental Quality (Clean Air) – Regulation 1978    
    
a)Ambient Air Monitoring
b)Isokinetic Stack Monitoring

In any trade, industry, process, fuel burning equipment or industrial plant
( other than plant  or  equipment used for the heating of metals)
in the operation of which dust or other solid particles are emitted, the concentration at any point of any smoke, soot, dust, ash (including flyash) cinders, cement, lime, alumina, grit or other solid particles of any kind shall be such that the total mass of such solid particles before admixture with air, smoke or other gases does not exceed Standard  A: 0.6, Standard B: 0.5, Standard C: 0.4 gramme in each normal cubic metre of effluent gases

Environmental Quality

 – Regulation 1979

a)Waste Water Sample Analysis
b)Sewage Sample (Septic Tank)

These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st January 1979 except for those sources in existence before this date, these Regulations shall come into force on January 1, 1981.

These Regulations shall apply to discharge of effluent into any inland waters, other than the effluents discharged from prescribed premises or other premises specified in the First Schedule or both.

Department of Occupational Safety and Health  (DOSH)

Use of Standard Chemicals Hazardous to Health – Regulation 2000 (USECHH)
A self Regulation that was enforced on the 1st April 2000 which has a list of Sub
Regulations to ensure the Safety and Health of the workers in a factory or plant.PMA and PMT fitness certificates for Pressure Vessal, Chain Hoist and Compressor under the factories and Machinery Act of DOSH.

Department of Enviromental (DOE)

Documentations, Prepare drawings and Calculations.
Endorsement and checking Professional Engineer according to DOE’s Enviroment
Quality Act & Regulations ~ Act 127 of Environmental Quality (Clean Air)
– Regulations 1978.
